Scan table
Find a table by scanning or typing its code, instead of looking for it on the floor plan.

With many tables, finding one on the floor plan takes time. Press Scan table, scan the code on the table, and the POS opens that table for you.

Scan the table's code, or type it and press Open.

- Table code: the scanner types the code here and opens the table at once. You can also type it.
- Cancel: closes the window. Nothing is opened.
- Open: opens the table with the code in the box. Enter does the same.
Open a table by its code
- On the table screen, press Scan table in the bottom bar.
- Scan the code on the table with the scanner. Or type it and press Open.
- The window closes and the table opens, just as when you tap it.
On Android, press Use camera to scan the code with the tablet's camera.
What opens
- A free table: the sales screen, to start its order. If the POS asks the number of guests, key it first.
- A table with a bill: its table window, with the bill's summary and Continue order, Print bill, Payment, Split and Reprint kitchen.
A table on another floor opens just the same.
Which code to scan
The code can be the table's Code, such as T06, or its Code 2, for example the barcode or number on the table's sticker. Both are set in the back office, in Room, Table Plan: see Table Plan: a table's settings.
If something goes wrong
- No table has the code 1005.: the box is emptied for the next try. Check the code, or set it as the table's Code 2 in the Table Plan.
- There is no Scan table button: the outlet has no tables that can be tapped, or this POS's System Button profile hides it.
