Staff shows who sold what: the staff's net sales and commission for the days and outlets in the top bar, and each staff member from the best seller down. Press a name to see the dishes behind the figure.

These are the back office Commission report's own figures, so "staff sales" here means exactly what that report means:

  • A sale belongs to the staff member on the line: the one chosen at the POS as Who served? for the bill, or as Sold by for that line. Not whoever opened the bill or took the money.
  • Only lines of paid bills count. A voided line never does.
  • A refund takes the sale and its commission back, on the day of the refund, from the person the sold line belonged to.
  • Net sales are the lines' own amounts after discounts, before tax. Commission is what each line earned when its bill was paid.

A line with nobody on it is in nobody's figures, so the staff together need not add up to the day's sales.

Before you start

  • Your access group allows Reports, Commission, View. Without it the tab says Your sign-in may not see staff sales and commission.
  • The commission rates are set on each item, by staff category. See Staff Categories and Staff Master.

The tab, part by part

Staff: the three tiles, then each staff member, one of them opened.
  1. Staff sales: the totals of the days and outlets chosen. With outlets in more than one currency there is one such card per currency, named, such as Staff sales · RM.
  2. Net sales: what the staff's lines came to, after discounts, before tax.
  3. Commission: what those lines earned.
  4. Items: how many were sold on those lines.
  5. By staff member: one row per person, the best seller first.
  6. The name: the staff member, with their staff category beside it, such as Senior waiter.
  7. Their net sales.
  8. The bar: the person against the best seller of the days, who has a full bar. It is for the eye only.
  9. Items and lines: how many items they sold, on how many bill lines.
  10. Commission: what they earned.
  11. Their items: press the name to open the list of what they sold, 12 × Nasi Lemak Ayam, with the net sales of each and, when not zero, its commission (comm.). Press the name again to close it. One person is open at a time.
  12. The line at the foot: Paid bills only, by the staff member on each line. A refund takes the sale and its commission back.
  1. Choose the days in the top bar: Today, This month, or your own From and To for a pay period.
  2. Open Staff.
  3. Press a name to see what that person sold. Press it again to close.
