Outlets: Money › iPay88 e-wallet
Set up the outlet's iPay88 e-wallet account on its Money sub-tab. Take iPay88 e-wallet payments at this outlet, the merchant code, the merchant key that is kept sealed and never shown, Merchant Scan and the User Scan wallets, and what the POS and the kiosk then do.
On this page
With an iPay88 merchant account, guests can pay at the outlet with their e-wallet: Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow QR and more. Each outlet has its own iPay88 account, set up at the foot of its Money sub-tab.
The POS never holds your merchant key. It asks FooodPos's cloud, and the cloud signs the request with the key and asks iPay88. So an iPay88 payment needs the internet; without it the POS says so and offers the other ways to pay.
There are two ways to take a wallet payment:
- Merchant Scan: the cashier scans the code on the guest's phone. It works for every wallet (iPay88's Unified Scan).
- User Scan: the POS shows a QR code and the guest scans it with the wallet chosen. A kiosk can only use User Scan.
Before you start
- You may change the outlet.
- Have the outlet's merchant code and merchant key from iPay88. Some accounts also come with a terminal ID or an xfield1: have them too if iPay88 gave them.
- After this, a payment method needs to be linked to iPay88 in General Setup, Payment Methods. See Link a payment method to iPay88.
Open it
- In the menu, under MASTERS, click Outlet, then Outlets.
- Click Edit on the outlet's row.
- Click the Money sub-tab, and scroll to iPay88 e-wallet at its foot.
