A subscription is one restaurant's FooodPos account, with its own six-digit number. An owner with two restaurants, or a manager who also runs a friend's, signs in with one email address and one password to all of them. You move between them from the top bar, without signing out.

Before you start

  • Your email address signs in to more than one subscription. With only one, the subscription box in the top bar has no ▾ and nothing opens.

Open the chooser

  1. In the top bar, click the subscription box on the left: the number and name with ▾.
  2. The window Choose a subscription opens, with the cursor in the search box.
Choose a subscription, opened from the top bar.
  1. Search: type part of a subscription's name, its six-digit number or its code. The list narrows as you type, and the line under the box counts the matches, such as 1 of 3.
  2. The one you are in: marked Current. Choosing it simply closes the window.
  3. Another subscription: its name, its number, and when it runs out. Trial ends … is a free trial; Expires … is the day a paid one is paid until. The date turns amber in its last weeks.
  4. An ended one: Expired … or Trial ended …, in red. It can still be opened, unless it is suspended.
  5. The badges: Current (blue) is the subscription this session is in. Suspended (red) is one FooodPos has suspended: it is listed so you can see it, but cannot be chosen.
  6. ✕: closes the window. Escape does the same.

Switch

  1. Click the subscription, or move to it with the arrow keys and press Enter. The arrow keys step over a suspended one.
  2. The back office opens again in that subscription, on its Dashboard.
  3. If your account there works at several outlets and has no default outlet, you first see Choose an outlet. Click one.

What changes when you switch:

  • Everything on screen is the other restaurant's: its menu, outlets, staff, reports. The page reloads whole, so nothing of the first restaurant is left on screen.
  • Your role and rights are the ones you have in that restaurant. You may be the owner in one and a manager in the other; the menu shows what you may open there.
  • Your open tabs are kept for each subscription. Coming back brings back that subscription's tabs.
  • Other browser tabs move with you: one browser holds one sign-in. A back office page open in another tab reloads into the new subscription by itself.
