The Floor Plan shows your tables as they are right now, drawn the way the POS draws them. A table's colour says whether it is free, occupied, billed or reserved. Click a table to see how many guests sit there, for how long, and what their bill comes to.

It is for looking only. Guests are seated, bills are rung and tables are cleared on the POS. See The table screen.

Before you start

  • You need the right to see the floor plan. Without it, Floor Plan is not in your menu.
  • The floors and tables come from Room, Table Plan. An outlet with no floor there shows nothing here. See Table Plan.

Open the Floor Plan

  1. In the back office's menu, under TODAY, click Floor Plan.
  2. Or click the Tables occupied tile on Today at a glance.

The screen, part by part

The Floor Plan: the colours and their counts, one section per outlet, its floors, and the table chosen.
  1. Floor Plan: under TODAY in the menu.
  2. What it shows: the outlets shown, then Live. Refreshes every 15 seconds. The page reads the tables again by itself every 15 seconds.
  3. The colour key: Free, Occupied, Billed and Reserved, each with how many tables are in that state now. See What each colour means.
  4. Outlet: All outlets, or one outlet. Shown only when you have more than one outlet.
  5. Refresh: reads the tables again now.
  6. The outlet's heading: the outlet's code and name, with how many tables are occupied, free and billed. Shown when more than one outlet is on the page. Click it to fold the outlet away (▸) or open it again (▾).
  7. The floor tabs: one tab per floor of the outlet, such as Main hall and Terrace. Click a tab to see that floor.
  8. The floor: each table where the Table Plan puts it, in its shape and colour. A free table shows its code and its seats (4 pax). A taken table shows its code, its guests and its running total (4 · 86.40). A table merged with another says merged. The table you clicked has a blue outline. Walls and decorations are drawn grey, without numbers.
  9. The table's panel: the table you clicked. Before you click one, it says Select a table to see who is on it. See The table's panel.

See one outlet only

  1. In Outlet, choose the outlet.
  2. Only that outlet's floors are shown, without its heading.
  3. To see every outlet again, choose All outlets.
