Wallet

The money a member keeps with you. Reload bonus rules (+ Add a rule, Edit, Switch off, Switch on), how the Member Portal picks the bonus of a reload, and Find a member, reload or adjust.

A member's wallet is money they keep with you: they top it up, and pay with it on a later bill. Wallet in the back office holds two things: the reload bonus rules (top up RM 100, get 10% more), and, under them, one member's wallet reloaded or put right.

The rules and the wallets are kept in the Member Portal. When a member reloads, the portal itself picks the bonus: nothing is worked out in the back office.

Before you start

  • To see the screen, your back office access group needs Member (members, points, wallet, vouchers), View.
  • To add, change or switch off a rule, it needs Connect or disconnect Member; points rule, wallet rules, voucher templates, redeem rules, settings. Without it, the rules are shown with no buttons.
  • To reload or adjust a member's wallet, it needs Reload or adjust a member's wallet.

Open Wallet

  1. In the back office's menu, under MASTERS, click Member, then Wallet.
  2. The tab is named Member wallet.

The reload bonus rules, part by part

Reload bonus rules: the biggest step a reload reaches gives its bonus.
  1. Wallet: under MASTERS, in the Member category.
  2. Refresh: reads the rules again from the portal.
  3. + Add a rule: makes a new reload bonus. See Add a reload bonus.
  4. Reload of at least: the smallest reload that earns this bonus.
  5. Bonus: what is added on top: a percentage of the reload (10%) or a fixed amount (RM 50.00).
  6. From: the first day of the rule, or — for one that started at once.
  7. To: the last day, or No end.
  8. Also gives price level: a price level the reload also grants, and for how many days, or —.
  9. Status: On, or Off for a rule switched off. A rule switched off is drawn paler.
  10. Edit and Switch off: change the rule, or stop it being given.
  11. Switch on: on a rule that is off, gives it again.

The list shows the rules in date today, those switched off among them. A rule that starts later, or has ended, is not sent by the portal at all, so it is not listed here: it is in the Member Portal only. With no rule today, the list says No reload bonus today. A reload adds exactly what was paid.

How the bonus of a reload is picked

Of the rules switched on and in date, the Member Portal takes the one with the highest Reload of at least that the reload reaches. Only that one: bonuses are never added together.

With the rules above, a reload of RM 80 reaches no rule that is on, and gets no bonus. A reload of RM 150 reaches the RM 100 rule: 10% more, RM 15. A reload of RM 350 reaches the RM 300 rule: RM 50 more, and the price level GOLD for 90 days.

Add a reload bonus

New reload bonus: the step, the bonus, the dates, and a price level if you like.
  1. Reload of at least (RM): the smallest reload that earns this bonus. 0 or more.
  2. Bonus is: A percentage of the reload, or A fixed amount.
  3. Bonus (%): the percentage, such as 10. With A fixed amount the box is Bonus (RM). Above 0, except for a rule that only gives a price level, which may be 0.
  4. From: the rule's first day. Leave it empty to start at once.
  5. To: its last day. Leave it empty for no end.
  6. Also gives price level: optional. The code of a price level the reload also grants. Your own Price Levels are offered as you type.
  7. For how many days: how long that price level lasts, 1 to 3650. Greyed out until a price level is typed.
  8. Save: saves the rule in the Member Portal.
  1. Click + Add a rule. The window New reload bonus opens.
  2. In Reload of at least (RM), type the step, such as 100.
  3. Choose A percentage of the reload or A fixed amount, and type the bonus.
  4. Leave From and To empty, or choose the dates of an offer.
  5. Click Save. The big green SAVED shows, and the green box says The rule is saved.

A rule with a later From is saved, and The rule is saved. It starts on 01 Nov 2026 and is listed here from that day. One whose To has passed: The rule is saved. Its end date has passed, so it is no longer listed here.

Change, switch off or switch on a rule

  • Edit: opens the rule in Edit reload bonus. Change it and click Save. A rule that is off stays off, and one that is on stays on.
  • Switch off: the back office asks Switch off the bonus for reloads of RM 100.00 or more? Reloads already made keep their bonus. Click OK. The green box says The rule is switched off. The rule stays in the list, marked Off.
  • Switch on: on a rule marked Off. The green box says The rule is switched on.

Find a member, reload or adjust

Under the rules, you can reload one member's wallet for money received, or adjust it to put a mistake right. Neither can be undone except by another adjustment, and each is kept in the member's ledger.

Find a member, then their Wallet: the same as on the member's own page.
  1. Find a member: type two letters or more of a name, phone, email or card, then click the member.
  2. The member chosen, with Change member to choose another.
  3. Wallet: the balance and the ledger, newest first.
  4. Adjust: a correction, up or down. No money is taken and no bonus is added.
  5. Reload: tops the wallet up for money the member paid you, with any reload bonus.
  1. In Find a member, reload or adjust, type part of the member's name or phone, and click the member.
  2. Click Reload. In Amount received (RM), type what the member paid, such as 150.
  3. In Note, say how it was paid, for example Cash, counter 1.
  4. Click Reload RM 150.00. SAVED says Reloaded RM 150.00. Bonus RM 15.00 added by the Member Portal. Balance now RM 245.00.
