The Receipt sub-tab holds what the outlet's bills say at the top and the bottom, and the outlet's logo. A preview beside the boxes shows the top and the bottom of a bill exactly as both POS apps lay them out. Every POS at the outlet prints the same.

Before you start

  • You may change the outlet.
  • For the logo: a picture of it as a JPEG, PNG or WebP file, at most 1 MB. A dark logo on a white or clear ground prints best: the paper is black and white.

Open it

  1. In the menu, under MASTERS, click Outlet, then Outlets.
  2. Click Edit on the outlet's row.
  3. Click the Receipt sub-tab.
Receipt: the boxes on the left, the bill preview on the right.
  1. Receipt header: lines of your own for the top of the bill, up to 1000 characters. Press Enter for a new line: each line prints as a line. Blank lines are left out. Left empty, the bill prints the company details from Details and Address & contact.
  2. replace the company details: the typed lines print in place of the name, address, phone and registration numbers. The first line prints big and bold, as the name does; the others print plain. A new outlet's header starts on this choice.
  3. print under them: the company details print as usual, and the typed lines under them. The choices show only while the header has text.
  4. Receipt footer: the lines at the bottom of the bill, up to 1000 characters. Left empty, the bill says Thank you.
  5. Bill preview: the top and the bottom of a bill from what is in the boxes now, laid out by the same rules both POS apps print by. It changes as you type, before you save.
  6. 58 mm / 80 mm: the paper width of the preview. 80 mm takes 48 characters across, 58 mm 32. Choose your printer's.
  7. The paper: everything prints centred. The space in the middle says where the order and its total go.
  8. The line under it: how many characters fit across.
  9. Save: saves the header, the footer and the logo with the rest of the outlet.

The logo, part by part

The logo prints at the very top of the receipt and the bill, above the outlet's name, when their print format has Logo ticked. The print format sets its size. Each outlet prints its own logo with the same format.

Logo: under the header and the footer, on the same sub-tab.
  1. The line on top: when the logo prints, and what prints best.
  2. The picture: the logo chosen, or No logo.
  3. The list: None, then every picture in the restaurant's files, with its file name, size in pixels and size in bytes. These are the same files the customer display uses.
  4. Upload a picture: adds a picture from your computer to the restaurant's files and chooses it. It says Uploading… while it works.
  5. Remove: takes the logo off this outlet. The picture stays in the restaurant's files.
  6. The reminder: a logo chosen or taken off is saved only by the window's Save. It says Press Save to take the logo off. after Remove.
  1. Click in Receipt header or Receipt footer and type the lines.
  2. For a header, choose replace the company details or print under them.
  3. Check the Bill preview on your printer's paper width.
  4. Click Save. Every POS at the outlet prints the new lines from its next sync.

To go back to the company details, empty the Receipt header box and click Save.

  1. Click Upload a picture and choose the logo file. A green SAVED says Added to the restaurant's files. Press Save to use it as this outlet's logo. Or choose a picture already uploaded from the list.
  2. Click Save. Every POS at this outlet takes the logo on its next pull.
  3. Make sure the print format prints it: in General Setup, Print Formats, edit the receipt format your POS use, and on its Top tab tick Logo and choose its size. See Print Formats: design a receipt.
  4. Print a test bill on the POS.
