POS terminals: Customer display tab

On this page
A Main or Sub POS can show the guest their order on a second screen that faces them: each dish as it is rung up, the total, and a thank-you when the bill is paid. Between guests the screen shows your picture or your advertisements. The Customer display tab of the POS decides what that screen shows.
The tab has its own Save. Its pictures and videos are kept once for the whole restaurant, in The restaurant's files, and any POS can use them.
Before you start
- You are an Administrator or a Manager, and you may change the outlet.
- The POS is a Main terminal or a Sub terminal, already paired. A waiter tablet, a kitchen display, an order board and a kiosk have no customer display.
- A second screen is plugged into the POS, or the device has one built in.
- Pictures are JPEG, PNG or WebP, at most 1 MB each. Videos are MP4, at most 20 MB each. The restaurant's files may take 200 MB in all.
Open it
- In the menu, under MASTERS, click Outlet, then Outlets.
- Click Edit on the outlet's row, then the POS terminals tab.
- Click Edit on the POS's row, then the Customer display tab at the top of its window.
