The master slip is one checklist of a whole round: after every Save & Fire, the POS prints every item just sent, whichever kitchen station cooks it, with a box to tick, the table, the time, the server and the round, and what was deleted. The runner ticks each dish as it goes out, and signs at the foot.

It is off until you switch it on, on a POS terminal setting. Its format is made on the Master slip tab of Print Formats, in the same editor as the receipt.

Before you start

  • Only an Administrator or a Manager sees Print Formats.
  • The master slip is switched on per POS terminal setting: see Switch the master slip on.
