Tax Report › Tax Summary
The statutory return's source. The base and the tax of every rate, Included in price and Added on top apart, what each was charged on, by POS and outlet by outlet under its SST number, and the CSV for your tax agent.
On this page
Tax Summary says how much tax your bills charged, and on what. Each rate is a line, and the same rate is split when it was charged in two ways: Included in price and Added on top are separate lines, because the base each was worked out on is different. Use it to fill in your SST return, or send its CSV to your tax agent.
It counts paid bills and refunds, on business days. A refund gives back its tax on the day it was made, not on the day of the bill it refunds.
Before you start
- You need Tax Summary (View) in your back office access group, under Reports. An Administrator has it.
- Your taxes are set in Taxes & Charges. The report shows them by their Code and Name.
- To see each outlet's own return under its SST number, the outlet needs its SST No. See Outlets: Details.
Open Tax Summary
- In the back office's menu, click REPORTS, then Tax Report.
- Click Tax Summary. It opens on Today, on All outlets.
The report, part by part
Tax Summary
Base and tax per rate. Inclusive and exclusive are reported separately.
2By POSEach bill counts on the POS it was opened on, and a refund on the POS that raised it. No POS is what no POS opened, such as a QR order not yet paid.

- Tax Summary: under REPORTS, in the Tax Report row.
- The title and its line: Base and tax per rate. Inclusive and exclusive are reported separately.
- Outlet: All outlets (where it opens), or one outlet. With all of them, each outlet's own return follows the total. See Each outlet's own return. A person with one outlet sees no box.
- POS: All POS, or one POS of the outlets on screen. With one POS chosen, every figure is that POS's bills. The box is not shown while the outlets have only one POS.
- The dates: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days and Last 30 days, or your own days in From and to. Both days are counted in. See Dates, presets and the business day.
- Which POS a figure is on: tax is the bill's, so it counts on the POS the bill was opened on, even when another POS took the money. Shown when there is more than one POS.
- By POS: the Taxable base and the Tax of the bills each POS opened, and the All POS total under them. No POS is what no POS opened, such as a QR order not yet paid. Shown only when more than one POS has figures. It has its own Export CSV.
- Total tax: the tax of every line below, added up. With outlets in two currencies, one figure per currency.
- Export CSV: the lines below as a file, with the columns Tax, Name, Rate, Mode, Charged on, Base and Tax. With one POS chosen, the file has a POS column and the POS's code in its name, such as tax-POS1.csv.
- Tax: the tax's code, with its name in grey.
- Rate: its percentage.
- Applied: Added on top when the tax was added to the price, Included in price when the price already held it.
- Charged on: what the tax was worked out on. Item lines: the dishes and drinks. Service charge: the service charge. Your own charge: a charge of your own, such as packaging.
- Taxable base: the money the tax was worked out on. For Included in price, it is the price with the tax taken out.
- Tax: the tax charged on that base. A refund's tax is taken off it, on the refund's own day.
The lines come in order of the tax's code, then Added on top before Included in price, then what it was charged on. So the tax on your own charge can stand right above the tax on the food, under the same code: they are two lines on purpose, because they are two lines of a return.
Check one POS
- Choose the outlet in Outlet.
- In POS, choose the POS, such as POS2 — Bar.
- Every line now holds that POS's bills only. By POS is not shown, because the report is that one POS.
- To go back, choose All POS.
Each outlet's own return
On All outlets, the first table is every outlet added up. Under it, each outlet has a table of its own, with the same columns, headed by its code, its name, its SST number and its tax.

- An outlet with its SST number: Tax registration and the number from its SST No, then the outlet's tax. Its Export CSV gives a file named by its code, such as tax-HQ.csv.
- An outlet with none: says No tax registration number on this outlet. Its figures are still right.
Send the figures to your tax agent
- Choose the outlet in Outlet, so the file is one return.
- Type the first and last day of the tax period in From and to.
- Click Export CSV on the table. The file opens in Excel with the names as you typed them, Chinese too.
