Sales Report: Payment terminals
The card terminals (PBB, Fiuu) and iPay88 at your outlet, as each POS used them. The iPay88 calls, with an approved call that no bill recorded, and the Terminal log of every sale, void, refund and check, with what was sent and what came back.
On this page
Payment terminals is where you reconcile the card terminals and iPay88 with the bills. It shows every request a POS made to its PBB or Fiuu card terminal and to iPay88, and what came back. Use it when a guest says the card was charged but the bill is not paid, or when the terminal's settlement does not match the Payments report.
It only reads. Card numbers are never sent to it: a card shows its scheme and last four digits only.
What it shows
- The outlet you are working in. This page has no Outlet box. To see another outlet, change your working outlet first: see Change the working outlet.
- By the clock, not the business day. From and To are calendar days in Malaysia time, from midnight to midnight, because a terminal's log has times, not business days.
- Newest first, up to 300 rows in each table.
- Up to three months at a time.
Before you start
- Only an Administrator or a Manager can open it, with Payment Summary in the back office access group.
- The card terminals and iPay88 are set up first, on the payment methods and on each POS. See Payment Methods: integrations.
Open Payment terminals
- In the menu, under REPORTS, click Sales Report, then Payment terminals.
- It opens on today. Choose From and To, and which terminal's log to show.

iPay88 callsAn approved call with no payment on a bill: the customer paid and no POS recorded it. Check the bill, or void it in iPay88's report.

- Payment terminals: under REPORTS, in the Sales Report row.
- From and To: the first and the last calendar day, both counted in. The page reads again as soon as you change one.
- Terminal log of: All, PBB terminal, Fiuu terminal or iPay88. It narrows the Terminal log only; the iPay88 calls are always shown.
- Refresh: reads both tables again, for a payment made a moment ago.
- iPay88 calls: every e-wallet payment a POS asked iPay88 for, through the cloud, with When, the POS (a kiosk as Kiosk and its code), the POS's Reference, the Amount, the Wallet the guest paid with and the iPay88 id of the transaction.
- How: Merchant Scan (the cashier scanned the guest's wallet code) or User Scan (QR) (the guest scanned a QR the POS showed).
- State: asking, waiting, approved, declined, unknown or voided. An approved call is green when it is on a bill, red when it is not.
- On a bill: Yes when a payment on a bill was taken against the call. A red No on an approved call is the one to look at: the guest paid, and no POS recorded it.
- Checks: how many times the cloud asked iPay88 again how the call stood.
- Says: iPay88's message, or why the call was voided.
- Terminal log: every attempt each POS made with a card terminal or with iPay88, as the POS logged it, newest first.
- Terminal: PBB, Fiuu or iPay88.
- What: Sale, Void, Refund, Status check, Inquiry, Cancel, Settlement, Test connection, Merchant Scan, QR shown or Re-query.
- Outcome: Approved, OK and Recovered in green; Declined and Cancelled in grey; Voided by hand in amber; No answer, Error and Reply refused in red.
- A row opened: click a row for what was sent and what came back: the Unique id sent, the Message, what was Sent, the Reply, how long it took, and the terminal's TID, invoice, batch and the POS app's version. Click it again to close it.
The other columns of the log: Amount, the Bill it was for, the payment Method, the Approval code, the RRN / trace numbers, the Card (scheme and last four digits), the terminal's response Code, and By, who was signed in.
When a guest was charged and the bill is not paid
- Choose the day of the payment in From and To.
- In iPay88 calls, look for an approved call with a red No under On a bill, of the guest's amount.
- For a card, look in the Terminal log for the attempts of that time: an Approved sale with no Bill, or a No answer followed by nothing.
- Open the bill on the POS and take the payment against what was charged, or give the money back.
- For iPay88, void the transaction in iPay88's own report if the money is to go back.
