Boss app

Your sales on your phone, from the Dashboard's Boss app button.

• Install the Boss app and sign inYour sales on your phone at fooodpos.com/boss. Add it to the home screen of any phone, or install the Android app, then sign in with your back office email and password and choose the subscription and the outlet.
• Boss app: dates, outlets and the menuThe Boss app's two bars. Choose the days with the quick picks or From and To, step back and forward, tick one, several or all outlets, refresh, switch subscription, open the back office and sign out.
• Boss app: TodayThe Boss app's first tab, Today (or Summary over several days). Net sales, bills, guests and the average bill, the day in figures from gross sales to what was collected, voids and refunds, the open bills now, and last week's same day, each one the back office report's own figure.
• Boss app: HourlyThe Boss app's Hourly tab. Net sales by the hour the bills were paid in, the best hour, the bars, and the Hour by hour table with its bills and net sales, in the order the business day runs; over several days each hour is that hour of every day added up.
• Boss app: TopThe Boss app's Top tab. Top items ranked by amount or by quantity, the first 10, 50 or 100, each with its share of the whole; or Top outlets ranked by net sales, with their bills and average bill against the best one.
• Boss app: StaffThe Boss app's Staff tab. The staff's net sales, commission and items, then each staff member from the best seller down, with a bar, their items and lines, and their commission; press a name to see what they sold. The back office Commission report's own figures.
• Boss app: PaymentThe Boss app's Payment tab. The total tendered with the change, tips and surcharges, each payment method with its kind, payments and share, and the money taken outside the bills, Pay later debts collected and deposits taken, handed back, used and forfeited. The back office Payment Summary's own figures.
• Boss app: BillsThe Boss app's Bills tab. Every bill of the days chosen, newest first, with search by bill number or table and the filters All, Paid, Open, Pay later, Refunds and Voided; press a bill for its sheet with its facts, items, promotions, totals and payments.
• Boss app: BalancesThe Boss app's Balances tab. Three balances as they stand now, each folding away. Stock balance (items, the low ones first, the stock value, search), Custody balance (what customers kept and have not collected, the last day to collect) and Pay later balance (what each customer owes, since when).
