Call waiter and Request bill
Call a member of staff, or ask for the bill, from the QR page at your table.
At a table, the QR page has two buttons under the welcome words: Call waiter and Request bill. One tap rings on the restaurant's POS, with your table's number. No need to wave.
The two buttons
- Call waiter: calls a member of staff to your table. After a tap it reads Waiter called for 30 seconds.
- Request bill: asks for your table's bill. After a tap it reads Bill requested.
- The answer: A member of staff is on the way, or Your bill is on its way.
The restaurant chooses which buttons show. They show only at a table, not for pick up, delivery or the queue. They still work when QR ordering is closed.
Call a waiter or ask for the bill
- Tap Call waiter or Request bill.
- Read the green line under the buttons.
- Nobody yet? Tap again when the button wakes up. It says Already called — someone is on the way: it is still one call, not two.
On the POS
The call rings on every POS of the outlet, and shows at the top of the orders panel: the table, Call waiter or Bill please, and how long it has waited. When you have been to the table, press Dismiss. For a bill, Print bill prints the table's bill and answers the call.
If something goes wrong
- No Call waiter or Request bill on the page: the restaurant has switched it off, or you are not at a table.
- You've called several times in the last minute. If nobody has come, please wave to a member of staff.: wave to a member of staff.
- That did not go through — please try again: check your phone's internet, then tap again.
