The Main POS link panel
Tap the link at the bottom of the screen to see how a POS reaches its Main POS, search again or type the Main's address.
On this page
A Sub or Waiter POS linked to a Main POS shows the link at the bottom of its screen, such as Main POS: linked. Tap it to open the Main POS link panel: where the link stands, and a way to find the Main again. On the Main POS, the same part says 2 POS linked, and opens the list of POS linked to it.

Let other POS reach this PC6Close
- Status: Linked, Searching, Reconnecting, or in amber Not reachable since 18:02.
- Address: where it found the Main, and how: found by search, typed here, or used last time.
- Search again: looks for the Main once more.
- Enter the Main POS's IP address: type the Main's address yourself.
- A linked POS (on the Main): each Sub and Waiter, and when it last answered.
- Let other POS reach this PC: lets other POS through Windows Firewall. It shows only when the firewall is closed.
Type the Main's address
- On the Main POS, read its address at the bottom of the screen, after LAN or Wi-Fi, such as 192.168.1.20.
- On the Sub or Waiter, tap the link at the bottom, then Enter the Main POS's IP address.
- Type it in Main POS IP address.
- Press Connect. It searches again, at that address first.
Let other POS reach a Windows Main
- On the Main POS, tap 2 POS linked (or No POS linked) at the bottom.
- If Windows Firewall says Not open: other POS cannot reach this PC, press Let other POS reach this PC.
- Allow it when Windows asks. The line then says Open for other POS.
An Android Main shows Kept running in the background instead. If it says No, press Allow FooodPos to keep running, so the tablet keeps answering when its screen is off.
If something goes wrong
- Type an address like 192.168.1.20.: four numbers with dots between them.
- Windows did not allow it. Ask whoever looks after this PC to allow FooodPos through Windows Firewall on port 3097.: ask the person who looks after the PC.
- Not reachable since 18:02: check that the Main is on with FooodPos open, and that both are on the same network, not a guest Wi-Fi.
