iPay88 lets a guest pay from an e-wallet, such as Touch 'n Go eWallet or DuitNow QR, with the amount sent from the POS. There are two ways, set on the payment method in the back office:

  • Merchant Scan: the guest shows the wallet's payment code, and you scan it.
  • User Scan: the POS shows a QR, and the guest scans it with the wallet.

iPay88 works through the cloud, so it needs the internet. With the line down, take another method. The payment is written on the bill only when iPay88 says approved for this sale.

  4. Scan or type the code: the scanner types the code here and presses Enter, which charges at once. You can also type it.
  5. Charge this wallet: sends the code and the amount to iPay88. It stays grey until the code is at least 6 characters long.
  6. Cancel: stops before anything is sent: Cancelled. Nothing was sent to the terminal.

  4. Check now: asks at once, for a guest who has just paid. It spends one check.
  5. Cancel: stops waiting. The POS asks iPay88 once more first, so a guest who paid that moment is not lost. If iPay88 says the guest has not paid: Stopped. iPay88 says the customer has not paid.

iPay88 allows a set number of checks per payment per day (7). When they are used up the window says Cannot confirm this payment. Check the iPay88 report before taking payment again.
