Every refusal Set up this POS (and This POS is no longer paired) can show when a pairing code is typed, on the Windows and the Android POS - no internet, an invalid or expired code, a code made for the other platform, too many wrong codes, a switched-off POS, a suspended restaurant - why each happens and what to do.

A pairing code from the back office is typed on Set up this POS, or on This POS is no longer paired. When the cloud does not accept it, the reason shows in red above the box, the code stays in the box, and nothing on the device changes. Find the message below.

Get this code in the back office: Outlets, the outlet, POS terminals, Pair. It works once and expires after 24 hours.
Pair this POS3
A refused code on Set up this POS (Windows).
The reason, in red. On an English POS, the cloud's own sentence.
Pairing code: the code stays as typed. Correct it, or type a new one.
Pair this POS: tries again.
On Android the reason shows in a red box above the code, on the same white card.
Each message, and what to do
On a POS in 中文 or Bahasa Melayu
The POS says some of these refusals in general words of its language, not the cloud's sentence. The Chinese and Malay pages of this guide list them as they appear. Two to know:
An invalid or expired code is said as the POS's words for a refused sign-in, though nobody is signing in. Treat it as Invalid or expired pairing code above.
A code for the other platform is said in the POS's words, with the cloud's English sentence after it in brackets.
Before you try again
Look at the POS's row in the back office (Outlets, Edit on the outlet, POS terminals).
Check its platform: Edit on the row, then Operation, then Platform. It must be this device's kind: Windows or Android.
Check that a code is waiting in the small blue box, and type exactly that code.
