On this page

When a guest taps a dish on the menu, the dish opens in a window that slides up over the page. Here they choose its options, the dishes of a set meal, how many they want, and a note for the kitchen. Add puts it in the cart.

The options are your own modifier groups and set contents, as set on the item in the back office, with your own names. The window's own words are in English only.

The dish window, part by part

A dish with two groups of options: one required, one optional.
  1. The picture: the item's picture, across the top. With none, the window starts with the name.

  2. ✕: closes the window without adding anything. A tap on the dark page behind it does the same.

  3. The dish: its name, its second name, its whole description and its price.

  4. A group of options: one of the dish's modifier groups, by its name (and second name). A set meal's groups come first, then the dish's own.

  5. The rule chip: what the group asks for, from its least and most:

    • Required · choose 1: exactly one, and it must be chosen.
    • Required · choose 2, Required · at least 1, Required · 1 to 3: the same for other figures.
    • Optional · choose 1: one at most, or none.
    • Optional · up to 3: three at most, or none.
    • Optional: as many as the guest likes, or none.

A required chip is dark. It turns red, with the reason under the group, when Add is tapped before the group is right.

  6. A choice of one: a round mark. A tap chooses it and lets go of the one chosen before. In a required group the default choices are chosen already when the window opens, so most guests only check them. In an optional group a second tap lets go of it.

  7. 1 of 3 chosen: how many are chosen, out of the most allowed, in a group where more than one may be chosen.

  8. A tick: a square mark, in a group where more than one may be chosen. Its price difference is beside it, such as +RM 2.00. In a group that allows quantities, a ticked option has its own − and +, up to 20 of one option.

  9. A sold-out option: greyed, with your sold-out words. It cannot be chosen today. One chosen before it ran out can still be let go of.

  10. Note for the kitchen (optional): up to 200 characters for this dish only, such as no spring onion. It goes to the kitchen with the dish.

  11. The quantity: − and +, from 1 to 99. All of them get the same options.

  12. Add: puts the dish in the cart and closes the window. It shows the price for the quantity, with the options: Add · RM 16.90, or Add 2 · RM 33.80. While a required group is not right it is grey and says Choose required options.

  13. Estimated price — confirmed by the restaurant.: the window adds up the dish and its options. The restaurant's own figure, with its offers, tax and service charge, is on the cart page.

A set meal

A set meal's groups list the dishes the guest chooses from, such as Drink and Side. When a chosen dish has options of its own, they open under the set's group as a group of their own, named for the dish: Iced Lemon Tea — Ice. They work like any group. What they add to the price counts for every one of that dish the set holds.

A set meal: the drink chosen in the set has its own question, Ice.
  1. The set's group: the dishes to choose from, with what each adds to the set's price.
  2. The chosen dish's own group: shown only while that dish is chosen. Choose another drink and this group goes, and the new drink's own questions come, with their default choices.

Add a dish

  1. Tap the dish on the menu. Its window opens.
  2. In each group, check the choice already made, or tap another. Tick any extras.
  3. Type a note for the kitchen if needed.
  4. Tap + to order more than one.
  5. Tap Add · RM 16.90. The window closes, and the page says Added 1 × Nasi Lemak Ayam for a moment.

The same dish added again with the same options and note joins its line in the cart, whose quantity goes up. With other options, or another note, it is a line of its own.
