Last bill shows the bills this POS closed on a business day: paid, voided and refunded. Tap one to see everything about it and its receipt exactly as it prints. From there you print it again, save it as a PDF, email it, correct its payment method or refund it.

Everything here comes from this POS's own records, so it works with the internet down. Only Email needs the internet.

Before you start

  • You need the right to look at bills: Take Orders in your access group. Without it, Last bill is not in the Settings menu.
  • Reprint needs its own right: Reprint a bill or a receipt copy. Without it, Reprint is greyed out and says why.
  • This POS only. A bill paid on another POS is on that POS's Last bill, and on the back office's sales list. Bills still open are on the table screen, not here.

Open Last bill

  1. On the table screen, tap ⚙ at the top right.
  2. Tap 📃 Last bill (on Android 🧾 Last bill).
  3. The list opens on today's business day, with the newest bill chosen.

The screen, part by part

The screen has three panes: the day's bills on the left, the bill you tapped in the middle, and its receipt on the right. This is the Windows POS; the Android POS is below.

Last bill (Windows): the day's bills, the bill tapped, and its receipt as it prints.
  1. Last bill and This POS only · T01: whose bills these are. A restaurant with two counters reads this before hunting for a bill that was rung on the other one.
  2. 12 bills today · 1 void · 1 refund: how many paid bills the day holds, then the voids and refunds when there are any. Another day says 12 bills on Thu 22 Oct 2026. While the list is read it says Reading….
  3. Business day: the day shown. Tap it to pick an earlier day; a day after today cannot be picked. When another day is shown, a Today button appears beside it to come back.
  4. Close: back to the table screen.
  5. The list: every bill of the day by bill number. Each row has the number, the time it closed, the table (Table T6) or the order type, a chip (Paid in green, Void in red, Refund in amber) and the total. The bill chosen has a blue ring. Tap a row to see it.
  6. The bill: everything this POS kept about it. See What the middle pane shows.
  7. The receipt: the paper exactly as this POS prints it, at its printer's width. Under it: As it prints, 32 columns. A reprint carries *** REPRINT *** at the top. A Pay later invoice is drawn as its invoice.
  8. Reprint: prints the receipt again, marked *** REPRINT ***. It says Sent to the receipt printer, marked REPRINT. Greyed out without the reprint right.
  9. Export PDF: saves the same paper as a PDF file where you choose.
  10. Email: opens a box under the paper for the guest's address, with Send and Cancel. It needs the internet.
  11. WhatsApp: not set up yet. It says WhatsApp is not set up yet. How a receipt goes out by WhatsApp will be decided with the owner, so nothing was sent.
  12. Change payment method: for a paid bill whose payment was keyed under the wrong method. Shown only when the rules allow it. See Change a bill's payment method.
  13. Refund a bill: refunds this bill, whole or by item, on this POS. Shown for a paid bill this POS holds. See Refund a bill.

What the middle pane shows

The middle pane is the bill set out for the eye, from the same figures the paper prints.

  • The number and the chip, and the total in large figures.
  • The facts, each shown only when it has a value: Refund of (on a refund, the bill it gave back), Order type, Table, Guests, Served by, Opened, then Paid, Voided or Refunded with the time, Cashier (on a void, Voided by), Reason and Business day.
  • The items: 3 items, each with its quantity, name, second-language name, modifiers, note, Sold by Aisyah when a staff member is on the line, its amount and 14.90 each. A discount on the line shows Less, a promotion its own name and (1 free).
  • The totals: Subtotal, the bill's promotions, Discount, Service charge, your restaurant's own charge, each tax (a tax in the prices says (included in the prices)), Rounding, then TOTAL RM.
  • Payments (on a refund Given back): each method with its reference (Ref 004512), its time and what was handed over (handed 50.00), then Change. A void has none: None: a bill with money on it is refunded, not voided.
  • A method corrected here says so beside it: Visa (changed from Cash by Siti, 13:50). On the screen only: the paper never says it.

A coloured line can stand at the top:

LineWhat it means
This bill was rung while the cloud could not be reached, so it has no number yet…The number comes when this POS sends the bill. The list says (not yet numbered) meanwhile.
This void is on its way to the cloud. The bill takes nothing more meanwhile.A void waiting to be sent.
The cloud raised this refund, and its items could not be read back yet…A refund made the online way. Its items are filled in by the next refresh.
Not sent to the cloud yet.A refund made on this POS, waiting to be sent.
The cloud holds this refund as RF-000009.The cloud numbered it differently.
The cloud did not accept this refund: …The cloud refused it, with its reason. The refund still stands on this POS: the money was handed over. Tell a manager.
  1. Open Last bill. Pick the day if it is not today.
  2. Tap the bill in the list.
  3. Check the receipt on the right.
  4. Press Reprint. The copy prints with *** REPRINT *** at the top.

  1. Tap the bill.
  2. To save it, press Export PDF and choose where. It says Saved as receipt-HQ-000123.pdf.
  3. To email it, press Email, type the guest's address and press Send. The guest gets the receipt with the same PDF attached: Emailed to tan@example.com, with the receipt as a PDF.

On Android: Last bill

The Android POS has the same three panes, with these differences:

  • The header line says This POS only · T01 · from its own records, so it works with the line down.
  • The day is changed with ◀ and ▶ over the list (▶ stops at today). On another day, Back to today appears under them.
  • The count line says 12 bills · 10 paid · 1 void · 1 refund.
  • The buttons are over the paper: 🖨️ Reprint (with a receipt printer set: 🖨️ Reprint to and its name), PDF: share and PDF: save, ✉️ Email and WhatsApp, then 💳 Change payment method and Refund.
  • PDF: share hands the PDF to another app (Share receipt). PDF: save saves it with the tablet's own file picker.
  • Email opens a window, Email this receipt, which says Emailing is the one thing here that needs the internet. The cloud sends its own copy of this bill.
  • Under the bill's number: On the cloud, or On this POS. It goes to the cloud with the next sync.
Last bill on Android: the buttons over the paper.
  1. Last bill, with whose bills these are and that it works with the line down.
  2. ◀ ▶: the day before or after. Over them, Today or the day shown.
  3. The count line: bills, paid, voids and refunds.
  4. On the cloud: the bill has reached the cloud. Amber On this POS. It goes to the cloud with the next sync. when it has not.
  5. 🖨️ Reprint: the same as on Windows.
  6. PDF: share: the PDF to WhatsApp, email or another app on the tablet.
  7. PDF: save: the PDF to a folder you choose.

On a phone, the list is on top and the bill under it, with the buttons in one row you push sideways. On a tablet held upright, the list runs across the top and the bill sits beside its paper under it.
