The Shift screen
See what this shift has taken and what the drawer should hold, and reach Move cash, the X reading and Close shift.
The Shift screen shows the shift open on this POS: who opened it, what it has taken, and the cash the drawer should hold right now. Open it with Shift in the bottom bar. Close takes you back to the tables.

- Who and when: the POS, who opened the shift, its business day and start time. · not in the cloud yet after it means the shift is saved on this POS and reaches the cloud when the internet is back.
- The figures: the opening float, the cash taken, card and e-wallet payments, cash paid in or out, the number of bills and the sales total, all of this shift.
- Drawer should hold: the float, plus the cash taken, plus or minus what was paid in or out. Your count at the close is checked against it.
- Move cash: pay cash into or out of the drawer.
- Print X reading: prints the figures so far. It closes nothing.
- Close shift: count the drawer and close the shift. It says Close shift (manager) when a manager must approve.
An amber line under the figures counts the voids, such as 2 void(s) totalling RM 18.50. Android has the same parts. Its Move cash opens the boxes under it, and Hide cash movement closes them.
Check the drawer during a shift
- Press Shift in the bottom bar.
- Read Drawer should hold.
- Count the cash in the drawer. If it is different, check the pay-ins and pay-outs, or print an X reading.
- Press Close to go back to the tables.
If something goes wrong
- No Shift button in the bottom bar: this POS keeps no shift of its own, such as a waiter tablet, or a Sub POS counted with its Main POS.
- The bottom bar says Open shift, in red: no shift is open here. Open one first.
- Close shift (manager): you may not close a shift yourself. A manager types their PIN when you close it.
