A guest joins at the counter. The cashier types their phone number, their name and whatever else your restaurant asks. The new member goes on the bill at once, so this bill already earns them points. It needs the internet.

The New member form

What the guest is asked: phone and name always, the rest as your restaurant chooses.
  1. Needed and Optional: what the guest must give, and what they may.
  2. Phone and Name: always needed. The phone is how the member is found later.
  3. Date of birth, Gender, Email, Card number: asked as your restaurant chooses.
  4. Registration fee: only when your restaurant charges one. It goes on this bill.
  5. Register and attach: signs the guest up and puts them on the bill.

Sign a guest up

  1. On the sales screen, press 👤 Member, then + New member.
  2. Type the guest's Phone and Name, and what else they give.
  3. Press Register and attach.
  4. Member registered shows. Press Done.

If your restaurant gives welcome vouchers, the screen says how many, such as 1 welcome voucher added. You can also sign a guest up in the back office: Member, Members, + Register a member.

Choose what is asked

In the back office, under Member, Settings: Registration form sets Date of birth, Gender, Email and Card number to Required, Optional or Not asked. Registration fee and Membership lasts (days) are set on the same page.

If something goes wrong

  • Siti Aminah already has this phone number. Attach Siti Aminah instead?: press Yes to put that member on the bill.
  • A red line under a box, such as Type the member's name.: fill in that box, then press Register and attach again.
  • Finding a member needs the internet: connect the POS, then try again. The bill can still be paid as usual.
