With On your own network only, only the Main POS talks to the cloud. When the Main loses the internet, the shop keeps selling: orders, payments, shifts and the day end go on, and the Main sends everything once the line is back. Only what the cloud must check waits.

Vouchers need the internet at T01: only the cloud can say a code is still unspent. The bill can still be paid, and a voucher applied once T01 is online.3

- A refusal: what needs the cloud says so in words, and nothing is left half done.
What keeps working
- Taking orders, and sending them to the kitchen printers and kitchen displays.
- Payments in cash and on the card terminals.
- Shifts, cash in and out, and the day end.
- Printing and reprinting bills and receipts.
- Order boards and kiosks linked to the Main.
What waits for the internet
Vouchers, kept items, bookings and the queue, QR orders, stock in and wastage, deposits and Pay later, a receipt by email, and Member.
Get through the outage
- Keep the Main POS on, with FooodPos open.
- A voucher or Member refused? Take the payment another way.
- Take QR and booking guests' orders at the counter.
- Key stock documents in once the Main is online again.
- When the line is back, the Main sends what it kept by itself, in order. The amber words go on every POS.

If something goes wrong
- QR orders need the internet at T01. None arrive while it is offline.: take those guests' orders at the counter.
- Stock in and wastage go straight to the cloud, and T01 cannot reach it right now. Nothing is saved. Key the document in once T01 is online.: key it in later.
- The cloud could not be reached 3 times when a POS asked for something in the last hour. Check this Main POS's internet. (on the Main's link panel): check the Main's cable and router.
