The Order board key
Call an order to the order boards, call it again, or mark it collected, from any POS.
On this page
The 📣 Order board key lists today's orders on your order boards. From it you call an order ready, call it again, or take it off the boards once the guest has it. Use it for an order nothing calls by itself, such as a drink from the bar.
Before you start
- The outlet has an order board switched on. Without one, the POS shows no Order board key.

- 📣 Order board: opens the window. It is in the bottom bar of the table screen.
- Preparing: the orders the kitchen is still making.
- Call: shows the order as Ready on every board, with the chime.
- Ready: the orders that are ready to collect.
- Call again: calls a ready order once more, for a guest who did not hear.
- Collected: the guest has it. It goes off every board.
The list reads itself again every few seconds while the window is open.
Call an order
- On the table screen, press 📣 Order board.
- Find the order by its number, under Preparing or Ready.
- Press Call.
- The window says A24 is called on the Order board. The order moves to Ready.
Call again, or mark collected
- Open 📣 Order board.
- Under Ready, find the order.
- Press Call again if the guest did not come. Press Collected once the guest has the food.
- After Collected, the window says A20 is collected. It is off the Order board.
On an open bill, the 📣 Call button calls its order without opening this window.
If something goes wrong
- There is no Order board key: no order board is switched on at this outlet, or the key is hidden on this POS. Check in the back office.
- Cannot reach the internet or the Main POS: only this POS's own orders are shown.: a call made now is kept, and goes to the boards when the line is back.
- The order is not in the list: it has not gone to the kitchen yet, or it was already collected.
