Adjust the print position
Move the print a little right or down on one printer, when it sits too near the edge or too high.
On this page
Two printers of the same model do not always start printing in the same place. If a receipt or a label sits too near the edge, or too high, move the print on that printer, half a millimetre at a press.

+2A roll printer can only be moved right and down. Moving right leaves fewer characters on each line. Test print uses these numbers at once.
- Move right (mm): + moves the print right, − back. Half a millimetre a press.
- Move down (mm): + adds a little paper before the first line.
- Reset to 0: puts both numbers back to 0.
- Test print: prints with the new numbers at once.
Move the receipt printer's print
- On the table screen, press ⚙ (Settings), Hardware, then Printer.
- Press the printer: Receipt printer, or a QR printer or Master slip printer with a printer of its own.
- Under Adjust print position, press + beside Move right (mm) or Move down (mm).
- Press Test print and look at the paper.
- Press again until it sits right. Each press is saved on this POS.
A QR or master slip printer on Follow receipt uses the receipt printer's numbers.
Move a kitchen printer's print
- Under Kitchen printers, press the station.
- Press More settings, then use Adjust print position the same way.
- Press Test print.
- Press Save. The numbers are the printer's, for every POS of the outlet.
A kitchen printer needs a manager and the internet, as in Kitchen printers.
If something goes wrong
- Lines wrap sooner than before: moving right leaves fewer characters on each line. Press − if you moved it too far.
- No Adjust print position box: the printer is on Follow receipt or Print to main; move the printer it follows.
