What the QR page's messages mean
A guest's phone shows a message instead of the menu: what each one means, and what staff do.
When a guest scans the table's QR code and cannot order, the phone shows a message instead of the menu. Here is what each one means, and what you do. The QR page is in English.

This table code can't be used1
This code was printed for an earlier day and has expired. Please ask a member of staff for a new one.2
- The title: what kind of problem it is (see the table below).
- The reason: the restaurant's own words, when there are any.
Each message, and what to do
| The phone says | What to do |
|---|---|
| This table code can't be used | The code is used up, from an earlier day, or for a table not in service. On the POS, open the table and press Print QR for a new code. |
| Sorry, we're not taking QR orders right now. | QR ordering is closed: outside its hours, closed on a POS, or after the day end. Take the order yourself, or open QR ordering again on the POS. |
| Ordering from the table is switched off | This outlet takes no QR orders now. Take the order at the POS. The owner sets it in the back office. |
| Your ordering session has ended | The guest presses Start again. The cart is still on the phone. |
| Can't reach the restaurant | The guest's phone has no internet. Connect it, then press Try again. |
| Just a moment | Too many presses in a short time. Wait, then press Try again. |
| Something went wrong | The restaurant's system had a problem. Press Try again in a moment. |
| No online queue here | This restaurant takes no queue online. Add the guest to the queue at the POS. |
If something goes wrong
- Print QR says it needs a connection: the code is kept on the cloud. Print it again once the POS is online.
- Something went wrong comes back again and again: give FooodPos support the ref shown in brackets under it.
- The guest ordered, but nothing reached the POS: look on the POS for QR orders waiting to be accepted.
