The Member Portal

Your members, their points, wallets and vouchers are kept in the FooodPos Member Portal, not in the back office. The back office's Member screens read it live and write to it. A few things are done only in the portal itself.

Before you start

• Your restaurant is connected to Member: Member, Connection.

Open the portal from the back office

What the portal keeps

• Your members: phone, name, card, birthday, and when their membership ends.
• Points, and your points rule.
• Wallets, and the bonus rules for a top-up.
• Member vouchers, and the kinds you give.
• Member sales: every paid bill that had a member on it.

Sign in to the portal

A restaurant that connected its own Member Portal account signs in with that account, as before.

Done only in the portal

• A member's phone number. The back office says The Member Portal does not allow a phone number to be changed from here. Change it in the portal itself.
• Staff sign-ins for the portal, the message log and the WhatsApp settings.
• Charts over twelve months.

Everything else, such as points, wallet top-ups, vouchers and member settings, you can do from the back office.

If something goes wrong

• Member is not connected yet: connect first, under Member, Connection.
• A member changed their phone: change it in the portal. The POS then finds them by the new number.
