When the kitchen display loses its link
What the red line across the kitchen display means, where new orders go meanwhile, and the KDS OFFLINE COPY slip.

A kitchen display gets its tickets through the internet, or from a Main POS on your own network. When it loses that link, a red line across the top says so, and says where new orders go meanwhile. The tickets already on the screen stay, and you keep working on them.

- The red line: the screen has lost its link. It says since when, and where new orders go.
- The tickets: the ones it already had stay, and their times keep counting. Tap and ✓ Done as usual.
- 2 taps not sent yet: the taps it keeps. They are sent by themselves when the link is back.
What the red line says
Through the internet:
- Offline since 12:04. New orders print on the HOT printer.: the station has a printer. Cook the new orders from the paper.
- Offline since 12:04. New orders are NOT reaching this screen. Ask the counter.: the station has no printer. Ask the counter for the new orders.
From a Main POS on your own network:
- Cannot reach T01 on your own network. New tickets show when it is back.: check that T01 is on, with FooodPos open.
- T01 is on network 192.168.68.x, but this screen is on 192.168.1.x.: put both on the same router or Wi-Fi.
While the screen cannot be reached, its Main POS prints the tickets of a station set to Screen first, paper if the screen is down on paper by itself, with or without the internet.
Print a ticket the screen never showed
- On a POS, the kitchen banner says 1 ticket at this outlet need a person. Press Open.
- The ticket says Screen offline: not shown.
- Press Print here.
- It prints at the station's printer with KDS OFFLINE COPY at the top. Cook from it.
If something goes wrong
- Waiting for the kitchen board., with the red line: the screen has had no tickets since it started. Fix its internet, or check its Main POS.
- T01 is on an older FooodPos app, so this screen gets its tickets through the internet. Update T01.: update FooodPos on the Main POS.
- The taps not sent do not go down: the link is still down. Keep working: up to 200 taps are kept.
