Some restaurants have a code for ordering ahead: on a poster, a sticker or a link. Scan it, say whether you will collect the order or want it delivered, and the menu opens.

The first screen

The first screen after scanning the counter code.
  1. The choice: I’ll collect it or Deliver it to me. When the restaurant offers only one, there is no choice to make.
  2. Your name and Phone number: always asked, so the restaurant can reach you.
  3. Delivery address: for a delivery only.
  4. The payment line: when you pay.
  5. See the menu: opens the menu.

Order ahead

  1. Scan the code.
  2. Tap I’ll collect it or Deliver it to me.
  3. Type your name and phone number. For a delivery, the address too.
  4. Tap See the menu.
  5. Choose your dishes and send the order, as at a table.
  6. Follow it on My orders. Staff accept it before the kitchen makes it.

The top of the menu then says You’ll collect this order or This order will be delivered, with the address. There is no Call waiter or Request bill: there is no table.

If something goes wrong

  • Not taking orders from this code, or This table code can't be used: the restaurant is not taking collection or delivery orders now. Order at the counter.
  • A red line under a box, such as Please type the address to deliver to.: fill in that box, then tap See the menu again.
  • This restaurant is not delivering right now.: tap Back, then I’ll collect it.
