A second screen facing the customer shows the bill as you ring it, and your pictures between bills. It is switched on for each POS in the back office. On the POS, Hardware, Customer display says which screen it found, lets you choose it, and tests it.

Before you start

  • The POS is a Main or a Sub POS. A waiter tablet, a kitchen display and a kiosk have no customer display.
  • The customer display is switched on for this POS in the back office. See Turn the customer display on at the POS.

  4. Show test: a sample bill on the second screen for a few seconds.
  5. Off on this PC: keeps the display off here, for a screen used for something else.

Set up the second screen

  1. Plug the screen into the POS (HDMI or USB-C), or use a POS with a customer screen built in.
  2. On Windows, if both screens show the same picture, press Win+P and choose Extend.
