菜单设计器 (Menu Designer)：菜单设置 (Menu settings)
选择 POS 把菜单的类别标签放在哪里：上方、左边（一到三列，自动或固定行数）或纯文字列表；以及菜品有第二语言名称时，按钮显示哪个名称。
Menu settings（菜单设置）是整个菜单的两个选择：
- Category tabs（类别标签）：POS 把菜单的标签放在哪里，以及标签多大。
- Names on the POS（POS 上的名称）：菜品、类别或选项有第二语言名称时，POS 的按钮显示哪个名称。
两者都是菜单的设置，不是某一个类别的，而且会单独保存：修改它们绝不会动到您正在放的按钮。Designed 和 Auto 菜单都适用。
后台只有英文，所以下面照屏幕写英文，并在括号里附上中文意思。
开始之前
- 您需要编辑菜单的权限。
- 如果您的 POS 显示 All menus（所有菜单），标签会跟随默认菜单的设置。请先设那个菜单。见由哪个菜单决定。
打开 Menu settings
- 打开 Menu、Menu Designer，在菜单列表里选菜单。
- 点 Menu settings。Menu settings: Main Menu 窗口打开。
- 做好选择，再点 Save（保存）。绿色的大字 SAVED 出现。
窗口开着的时候，后面的菜单设计器就已经把标签画在您正在选的位置，和保存后 POS 上的样子一样。

On the POS the category tabs run down the left, 1 column wide.6

On the POS
香辣炸鸡椰浆饭 · RM 12.908A POS takes the tabs at its next sync, and a change of names at once. One not yet updated keeps the tabs across the top and the second name small under the name.9

- Across the top（在上方）：菜品上方一排标签。每个标签都是它标签颜色的凸起按键；选中的变成白色并压平。
- Down the left（在左边）：菜品旁边一列标签，能放多得多的标签。标签在选中之前是白色，选中后变成它的标签颜色。有图片的标签，图片会盖满整个标签，名称显示在前面。
- Down the left, text only（在左边，纯文字）：菜品旁边一列名称，一个屏幕能放最多类别。见纯文字列表。
- Columns（列数，只限左边）：并排几个标签，1、2 或 3。每多一列，菜品就少一些宽度；这一列最多只占菜单那一边的五分之二。每多一列，字就小一号。
- Rows（行数，只限左边）：Auto（自动）让每个标签都是大按钮：至少 88 像素高，标签少时平分这一列的高度，每个最高 140；标签多时保持 88 并可滚动。4 到 12 把这一列的高度分成那么多行；超过行数乘列数的标签可以滚动。
- 下面的一行：哪些 POS 显示这个菜单，它们的标签会在哪里，按保存后的样子算出。POS 不会用这个设置时，后面会有黄色的 Different tab layouts.（标签布局不同）提醒（见由哪个菜单决定）。
- Names on the POS（POS 上的名称）：五个选择，见下文。默认是 Second name only（只显示第二名称）。
- On the POS（POS 上的样子）：用这个选择时 POS 画出的一道菜，用一个很长的主名称（Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Berempah）和一个第二名称（香辣炸鸡椰浆饭）。
- POS 什么时候采用：标签在下次同步时，名称马上。比这些设置还旧的 POS 应用，标签保持在上方，第二名称以小字显示。
- Save（保存）：为这个菜单保存两个选择。Cancel（取消）保持原样。
标签在上方或纯文字列表时，您选过的列数和行数会保留，所以试了别的位置再回来，还会找到它们。
POS 上的名称
菜品、类别或附加选项的答案有第二语言名称时（Items、Categories 和 Modifiers 的 Second language 栏位），POS 在菜品按钮、类别标签，以及附加选项和套餐窗口上这样显示名称：

没有第二名称的菜品、类别或选项，永远以正常大小显示主名称。打印出来的纸不是这样决定的：收据或厨房单印什么，在 Print Formats（打印格式）里设定。
纯文字列表
Down the left, text only 把标签画成一列名称：
- 一列，宽度是单列标签的两倍，行很细，高度只有一半；
- 每个名称都是它标签颜色的凸起按键，选中的是白色；
- 没有图片；不用 Columns 和 Rows（之前选的会保留）；
- 还没更新的 POS 会在左边显示普通标签。
由哪个菜单决定
- 有自己的菜单的 POS（POS 的 Settings、General 里的 Menu 栏位），照那个菜单的设置画标签和名称。
- 用 All menus (as now) 的 POS 把每个菜单的类别放在一起显示，所以只跟随一个菜单的设置：默认菜单的；没有启用的默认菜单时，显示顺序中第一个启用的菜单的。
选项下面的一行会说 POS 跟随哪个菜单。这个菜单设定不同时，黄色的 Different tab layouts. 提醒会说 POS 不理它，并列出其他设定不同的启用菜单：Set them the same … so every menu agrees.（把它们设成一样……让所有菜单一致。）
