菜单设计器 (Menu Designer)：自动填满类别
让设计菜单的某个类别从菜品类别自动填满，每道新菜都会自己出现在 POS 上，不用放按钮；Fill automatically 的设置、浅色格子、Leave this dish out 和 Pin it here，以及菜品填入的顺序。
设计菜单的某个类别，可以从您的某个菜品类别（Menu、Categories）自动填满。这样每个没有按钮的格子都会显示那个菜品类别的菜，按显示顺序，一次一屏。在 Items 加的菜，会在 POS 下次同步时出现，不用任何人去放按钮。
同一个网格里仍然可以手动放按钮：它们保留自己的格子，菜品会填在它们周围的格子里。Auto 菜单的每个标签都是这样；在设计菜单里，就是用这个办法让您选的标签也这样。
后台只有英文，所以下面照屏幕写英文，并在括号里附上中文意思。
开始之前
- 菜单必须是 Designed，而且您需要编辑菜单的权限。
- 餐厅的每台 POS 都必须用够新的应用，才画得出这种类别：Windows 至少 0.1.8，Android 至少 0.1.9。后台在提供这个选择之前会先检查。
- 想让菜品按特定顺序排列，就在 Items 给它们 Display order（显示顺序）。
开启
- 在菜单设计器打开这个类别的标签，再点 Category settings（类别设置）。（新标签就点 + Category。）
- 在 Fill automatically（自动填满）框里选菜品类别，例如 RICE — Rice & Noodles。
- 保留或取消勾选 Include the categories under Rice & Noodles（包括 Rice & Noodles 下面的类别）。
- 有菜不想放进来，就在 Leave out（排除）里选它。
- 点 Save（保存）。网格的空格会变成浅色，每格一道标着 auto 的菜。

Every cell without a button shows a category's dishes, in their display order, a screenful at a time. A dish added on the Items screen then reaches the POS at its next sync, and nobody has to place a button for it.

- Fill automatically（自动填满）：这个框，以及它的作用说明。
- 菜品类别：用哪个菜品类别的菜来填空格，按编号和名称列出；已停用的会写 (switched off)（已停用）。选 Off: only the buttons placed by hand（关：只有手动放的按钮）就停止自动填满。换成别的菜品类别时，Leave out 列表会清空。
- Include the categories under Rice & Noodles（包括下面的类别）：也用它下面的菜品类别的菜来填，例如 Rice & Noodles 下面的 Noodles。一开始是勾选的。
- 被排除的菜：它永远不会在这里填格子。点它的 ✕ 就重新显示。已经不在这个菜品类别里的菜会被划掉，保存时从列表里拿掉。
- Pick a dish from Rice & Noodles to leave out…（从 Rice & Noodles 选一道要排除的菜）：把菜加进列表。载入时写 Loading the dishes…（正在载入菜品）。手动放的按钮仍然会显示被排除的菜。
- Show dish pictures（显示菜品图片）：菜品在名称上方显示 Items 里的图片。
- 太旧的 POS：这个框会列出每台应用太旧、画不出自动填满类别的 POS，附上它的应用版本和需要的版本。所有 POS 更新之前，不会提供这个选择；已经在自动填满的类别则保留这些设置，让您可以关掉它。检查 POS 时会写 Checking the POS terminals…（正在检查 POS 终端）。
- Save（保存）：保存设置和类别的按钮。

Rice & Noodles: 26 dishes, 23 free cells, 2 screens5
Pale cells are placed automatically: click one to leave the dish out or pin it there, or drag it to another pale cell to change its place. That changes its display order on the Items screen, so it moves the same way wherever dishes are listed in that order.6
- 标签：auto 标示自动填满的类别。POS 上不显示这个字。
- 手动放的按钮：保留自己的格子，它的菜不会再出现在浅色格子里。
- 浅色格子：菜品类别放上的菜，标着 auto，边框是虚线。把指针停在上面会显示 Placed automatically from Rice & Noodles（从 Rice & Noodles 自动放上）。点它会有两个选择（见下文）。
- Screen 1 of 2（第 1 屏，共 2 屏）：菜品需要的格子比空格多时，会接到第二屏，和 POS 一样。这里用 ‹ 和 › 逐屏翻看。
- 数量：菜品类别、放了几道菜、有几个空格，以及要几屏。
- 浅色格子的用法：点它可以排除或固定；拖动可以改顺序（见菜单设计器 (Menu Designer)：拖动按钮和标签）。
哪些菜、什么顺序
一道菜会填进格子，条件是：
- 它在这个菜品类别里，或在它下面的菜品类别里（勾选了 Include the categories under … 时）；
- 它已启用，而且在 POS 上销售；
- 它不是原料；
- 它不在 Leave out 里；
- 它还没有以可见的菜品按钮出现在这个类别里。
菜品按 Items 的 Display order 排列，再按加入的先后，绝不按名称。它们从左到右、从上到下填进空格；放不下的接到下一屏。
每台 POS 都用自己存有的菜品，按同样的规则算出来，所以即使没有网络，POS 显示的也和这里的浅色格子完全一样。
排除一道菜，或把它固定在格子里
- 点一个浅色格子。窗口标题是菜名，说明它为什么在这里：它在这个菜品类别里，而这一格没有按钮。有菜加进这个菜品类别或被排除时，它的位置会变。
- 选择：
- Leave this dish out（排除这道菜）：它不会再自己出现在这里，后面的菜往前移。它会加进 Leave out 列表。
- Pin it here（固定在这里）：它变成那一行那一列的普通按钮，以后不管加了什么都留在那里。
- 或点 Cancel（取消）。
- 点 Save category（保存类别）。
Mee Goreng Mamak
Mee Goreng Mamak is here because it is in Rice & Noodles and this cell has no button. It moves when dishes are added to Rice & Noodles or left out.

- Leave this dish out（排除这道菜）：把这道菜加进 Leave out。
- Pin it here（固定在这里）：把浅色格子变成手动放的按钮。要撤销，点那个按钮再 Remove（移除）：这道菜又会填进浅色格子。
关掉
打开 Category settings，在 Fill automatically 框里选 Off: only the buttons placed by hand，再点 Save。浅色格子会消失；手动放的按钮保留。
在 POS 上
- 在 Windows 和横放的 Android POS 上，这个类别一次显示一屏，有不止一屏时网格下面有箭头。
- 竖放的 Android 手机把菜品显示成一条可以滚动的列表。
- 勾选了 Show dish pictures 时，POS 取得图片后，菜品会在名称上方显示图片；在那之前显示名称。
